Professor Rebecca Burdine spoke to over 300 enthusiastic students and teachers on the use of "Zebrafish as a Model for Human Disease". Becky shared her exciting research on left-right patterning in zebrafish development and its larger application as a model system to understand human disease. The subject was brought to life as students eagerly examined live mutant zebrafish embryos through a microscope.
